An acoustic cover of Beware (violin, piano & flute)

Hi, we did a cover of Beware and figured it wouldn't hurt to share it with Deftones fans.
That's not the "hey look at me I'm playing the guitar part over the original track" kind of cover, it's our own artistic take on the song.

It's good to see an original cover,Liked it but the flute playing seemed off a bit at the very start and he seemed to play too fast sometimes but overall not bad,also it needed something with a bit more punch than those instruments for the breakdown, it could sound really epic but it sounds flat, even if the piano part was played a bit lower it would give it that lower end punch it's missing.

Good effort though guys I'm sick of seeing Deftones guitar covers (and I'm a guitar player) because if i want to hear the song how it is originally i'll listen to the original and in most of them they've got the original song playing so loud you can't even hear them.

Yeah, we were in a bit of a hurry to record it before the deadline to a cover contest, so we didn't have the time to polish it. As for the punch, I agree, I'm thinking of maybe adding drums and some bass to the set. Also we've once tried using distortion with viola and it sounded really epic, but I couldn't recreate the effect so far.

I feel your pain here. We actually lost the contest to guys with covers where you can't tell their playing apart from the song. Oh, the irony.
