They might make an album worse than SNW, but I don't know.

All of their albums are worse than SNW except Around the Fur and White Pony.  They are all still good.

Honestly I don't like all the SNW hate on this forum. If they made an album as good as SNW, I'd be ecstatic.

Also I can't find it cuz I'm too lazy, but the guy who said the other singer for Team Sleep was talking about Chino slacking on their songs... You have to keep in mind that was during Chino's "bad days!" Things are different now!!

that was me. I personally met and hung out with Rob Crow (the guy that sings on half of Team Sleeps albums).. That just what he personally told me when I talked to him about it. I was kinda mad when he said that lol - I told him the same thing, I was like "well, those were in his bad days - and besides he's freakin Chino Moreno.." Rob Crow was kind of an arrogant prick anyways

[/quote]I think it ruined Team Sleep when all the other people got involved it was just Chino having fun with Crook but then it became like another big project for him with pressure which he was probably trying to avoid.

I don't actually hate SNW, it's just my least favorite album from them.

Yeah that's the same for me it has some of my top 10 songs on it but their is also alot of skip tracks compared other albums

Yeah, the demo/unmastered team sleep album is much better. I agree, once all these other people started getting involved it became more of a job than for fun. I think if he ever gets around to making another Team Sleep album, it'll be more just Chino/Crook/Todd/ & I hope Zach Hill cause I just love his drumming style.

Yeah i think Chino lost interest then as well and just did it to full out his obligation,It's annoying hearing all those demo's and stuff without vocals or without Chino like "Let's Go" that could of been so cool if Chino did the vocals rather than that shit female singer.

I dont think we as fans can ever know how many more records will be released, and i don't think the band know either....They will keep releasing music for as long as it suits them and makes them happy! :) Today they could think one more and tomorrow another 5.....

One thing i can say is that at some point when they start going grey it will be more mellow, but i have no problem with that!

one more studio besides Eros, and maybe that unexpected Bsides and or Greatest hits. The greatest hits aint happenin unless they are forced to some way. Not their style I think. Besides, isn't there a greatest already? idk, i don't bother w them. Got wt I need 10 times over
Pushing you back but still you ain't goooooooooone!!!!!!

We need Eros. I have a weird feeling that it's going to be one of my favorites and have some the coolest stuff they've ever wrote on it.

And this is why I think people will be disappointed with it. It can't live up to the hype. Though Melanie is better than any song that has come out since. To me anyway.

It has what im looking for from Deftones. It's more intriguing to me than the newer stuff.

As a big SNW fan, I'm hoping it has some similarities since it was the album written after SNW.  That said, I guess the rest of their albums aren't really similar to their previous album so probably just wishful thinking on my part.

My impression of Eros was kind of an ST/SNW mix... Which are my fav 2 albums! But yeah, too much hype and high expectations may lead to disappointment.

I far as i can tell from interviews its more toward Self titled they said its still the darkest stuff they've ever done

People putting too much hype on Eros right now, and it kinda bothers me how much people want it over what they're getting now. Gotta appreciate the excellent music they're making at the moment and let Eros gradually happen in time.

I really think they have a maximum 3 albums left in them, maybe one could be an experimental album.

Yeah i really want to hear Eros but i haven't set high expectations just haven't heard enough to say it's going to be awesome even though i will most probably like it's safer to not build it up lol

Wow i love that avatar DPunk Anyways they need to release that experimental album he talked about in that 2007 interview. He mentioned him and Stef were talking about making a hip hop record, just beats not rap. I would love to hear it.
