WAKE UP FEST (benefit for Chi on 01/22/11)

It's been a while since I've been on but wanted to fill you guys in on what I'm up to. I'm organizing a nationwide multishow benefit for Chi and it's called Wake Up Fest. I've got quite a few people involved so far including Gina Blackmore,she'll be handling the Texas show. I'm trying to get as many shows as possible to happen all on the same night which is 01/22/11.

Just created an official Facebook page for Wake Up Fest. To give you guys a run down,this was my first comment on the wall:
The goal is to have 30+ shows going on all on the same day plus raise as much as possible.

Just got off the phone with DEFinMASS, spent about an hour talking about arrangements and plans and I can promise you all this is going to be HUGE. The only Texas show right now is planned for San Antonio but if you are closer to Dallas or Houston or any other major city PLEASE help us with arranging a show in your area. DEF or me will be more than glad to help any of you who are interested in booking and planning the event, we just need as much participation as possible, even if its just passing out flyers. Just pm your contact info and either of us will get in touch with you.

I would also like to let you know this guy is one of the oldest members on this board and this is not just some kind of 'maybe' event. This will be a huge success and anyone who wants to help Chi should contact DEF or me and we'll let you know how you can help in your area.

shit i'd help, i'm in Dallas, but i don't really know any bands around here.. kinda dropped out of the local scene.. but i will definitely go to a Dallas show.. you've got 1 ticket sold haha...

eh and if my band was like all put together and shit by now i would totally fucking play a show that would be off the chain... that is to come in the future ...
