Wow, that makes perfect sense.  

So you want every Deftones song to sound the same?  Just one big party album of 12 tracks of the exact same song?  Might I suggest you check out www.korn.com, www.godsmack.com or possibly even www.britneyspears.com instead?  I think they will offer more of what you're looking for.

the big difference though- those bands suck and really should need a change while classic deftones sound rules and needs no change at all

Indeed.  I'm just a big fan of variety. And Beauty School is a great Deftones song.  So I'm not going to hate on it because it lacks a traditional sound.

Blerg! I'm disappointed "Diamond Eyes" is "winning". I think it's a great intro track and really sets the tone for the whole album.

Why are all the good tracks going first?
