you should totally include change, digital bath and minerva. Probably their 3 most popular songs.

Well, playing a varied Deftones set is going to be hard unless you've got multiple guitars to choose from since all albums are in different tunings. Basically the number of available guitars is the number of albums you can play material from, and even then it'll probably just be a mixture of Adrenaline, Around the Fur and White Pony since past that, you'll need a 7 string to play the songs properly. If you can manage it, just play stick to playing the singles and the more popular tracks. Bored, 7 Words, My Own Summer, Back to School, Change, Digital Bath. Anything else is up to you. Also, I suppose you could tune the guitars down in the first place and use a capo to play stuff that you would need to tune up for.

The problem I'm having is finding a singer capable of doing what Chino does. Around here it's either all scream with some whacked singing or all good singing and no screaming.

I figure the tuning shouldn't be a big big deal, bands always change up the way the songs are played live. so I don't think that would wholly matter.

also my voice is a bit lower than chinos, so my screams are meaty and my singing voice is peppery compared to his really, yet they are slightly simulator. In my old band when we covered LIFTER, everyone in the crowd was flood. lotta people gave me the nick name Chino because of how close it was.

So I figure I'd have my guitarist tune to my vocals. to be on the safe side.
