Hi all,
I'm new here but have been a Deftones fan for about 13 years.  I've been trying to find a copy of White Pony on vinyl and almost payed 50 bucks for one.  Obviously that's not really a bad price as I've seen them go for much more, but with all the vinyl resissues being put out currently I'm curious whether there is a reissue/repress planned for White Pony.  Does anyone have any idea if this is in the works?  In that case I won't bother buying it until it comes out again.

Also, could anyone who owns the album on vinyl tell me what the quality is like compared to the CD.  Records are really hit and miss, in some cases they sound superior to their CD counterparts, sometimes there's not much of a difference, and occasionally they sound like crap.  Current pressings of Siamese Dream are a great example of poor quality vinyl (surface noise, warping, off center, etc.).

Any information would be appreciated!

It sounds hopeless, to me...

The actual record or the possibility of a reissue?  It seems to me the label could make some easy money (though not necessarily a whole lot of profit by major label standards).  There is lots of demand at the moment, it seems to me like a run of a few thousand would sell out within a year or so.
