My Mission, Texas Deftones Concert Story/Pics/Videos

Hello all,
I hardly post here yet I always check here for updates. This was my first Deftones concert ever. I arrived at 5:30 pm. It was hot as hell waiting to go into the park. I bought a shirt (the one I'm wearing in the pics.) I ended up in the front row. I was the only one to spot Chino in a bicycle behind the stage and I took a pic. I yelled "There's Chino!" and everyone finally noticed. THe show was epic. One of a kind. At the end, only people with some type of wristband could meet the band. Cops kicked out everyone, yet I waited between parked cars in the dark and my girl and I planned out how we would go backstage and meet the Deftones. THis was a once in a liftime opportunity to meet the whole band. We waited one hour for cops and security guards to leave. Still, it was too risky to just go backstage. So, the opening band American Fang (from Houston, Tx) parked close to where we were hiding and they asked if we had cigarrates. We said no, but we could give them 5 dollars if they would get us back stage. They agreed. Then, I saw Frank, Stephen, and Abe came out of nowhere. Chino and Sergio were nowhere to be found.. We left because it was still something to have seen 3 members. BUT, it was not enough. We ran backstage again and asked for Chino, he was in fact talking with some girls and Sergio was eating tacos. So, I met them all! The waiting was worth it. Everybody had left already and onnly the band members were there. I loved this night!! Chino said he would return to Mission again through this album's tour. So, I'm guessing it will be a long tour for this new album. I do hope he keeps  his word. Enjoy the pics and videos. This was my lifelong dream come true. The Deftones were very polite and kind people to their fans, especially us. The video in the very end is dark. You hear me ask Chino to go to a well lighted place and he says "No." So, at least you can still hear him and kina see his head moving.

awesome pics deftuner. I always wanted to meet them but every time I try i ended up arguing with my ex gf after the show for some stupid reasons so I never got to meet them
