anyone else here into cky? how you guys diggin the new album "carver city", as compaired to the last album? and compaired to the other albums in general?

i like it, they're a really unique band. this album is pretty different from their last, but for the better i'd say. Deron does a different sorta singing style than he normally does most of the album, so it's fresh

havent caught anything by cky since infiltrate/destroy/rebuild. is it good?

oh yea, it's good. very different from IDR though, so no telling if you would like it right off the bat, it really grows on you though, it's cool as shit. i dont think they'll ever top IDR, that album is damn near perfection. that's not a bad thing, sometimes you make an album you cant top, like weezer with the blue album, etc. Deron should be given some kind award for his riffs

i'll check it out tonight, and pinkerton is pretty damn good man, it's right up there with the blue one..

i don't think I've ever listened to this band.  I think I heard a song of theirs a long while back and it didn't make much of an impression on me.  i'll check em out.

check out their first two albums, it's the ones i have and are great. (for the most part)

yeah the first couple were very good albums. but this new one really hasn't impressed too much, honestly. i should give it another listen though. eh, one of these days....

if i had to just recommend 1 album to anyone who hasnt heard them, i'd say "infitrate.destroy.rebuild", for sure. they even made a video for every song on the album(idr, video album dvd)

i guess i'm the only "diehard" cky fan here
