combat is by far the best song on snw. but it really doesnt have any competitors.i dont know if its good single material,maybe little too hard and loud, but it would be great as an album opener

serj was in new zealand during the video shoot, he has a house over there. that is what chino said in an interview, doesnt remember which one

Yeah, I believe in the interview Chino said Serj was looking to get a citizenship or visa for NZ, the video is on you tube somewhere.

yeah serj's lil part did suck. Another reason they probably didnt use all of it, is cause serj's lyrics were most likely really political. Which wouldnt mix with that song, or any deftones song for that matter. He almost ruined that song for me.

mein was a bad choice for a single. i think the main reasons SNW didnt go GOLD was because the poor choice for the 2nd single, then no third single. after hole in the earth, they should have used "combat" as the 2nd single, then "kimdracula", then maybe "cherry waves". 4 good singles there, & it would have went gold i think. chosing mein(a good song, but not a single whatsoever), it's like they didnt want it to sell. then with s/t hexagram was an odd choices of a single too, it should have been needles & pins

Cherry Waves obviously should have been the second single, I believe they would've had alot more sales.

Actually before " Mein" i hardly even knew of the deftones ( i'm a late fan) i knew change Because my friend loved the song
And i liked it ...  But it never really wen't anywhere

Then i heard Mein and was like i love that song  i've got to have it so i downloaded it... with a whole lot of other deftoens songs and since have becoem a big fan of the deftones.

Plus i like serj's part in the song
