Does this sound like Chino?

Been a big fan of m83 since the deftones introduced a lot of us to them by opening up to the tune of Be Wild in 2007. Anyway, check out the song if you haven't heard it. Around 1:05 it sorta sounds like Chino's ethereal kind of moaning. Anyone agree or think it might be him?

Most deffinately agree with you. The first time I listened to this song, thats the first thing I thought. Perhaps M83 is inspired by deftones.

And m83 has been/was considered shoegaze. Both have inspirations in 8o's music an alternative music...Just gos to show you how different someone band can be even though they are both influenced by the same stuff, their own take on that sound.
