No new stuff (pretty much a "duh" at this point lol) at the garden, but 'twas a good show. Really nice seeing them get the classic "phone flashlights as the 2025 equivalent of lighters" stadium treatment right before the encore.

Back to hibernation we go... Although it'll be super weird if all the snake teasers were for naught and dont get followed up in the next few months at the latest

I don't think they'll do anything until after the April 9th show. But the last 2 "updates" to the deftones.com website were 2 weeks apart.. and 2 weeks after the newest "update" is April 9th, if they don't do any updates to the website then, I think it'll be a waiting game until the august tour.

Yeah, I agree. Safest bet rn though is to just assume the worst which is just more dead silence. There's really no telling at this point, even with the tidbits of the information we have

It's not directly from the band so take it with a grain of salt. I can not go in to details, but I think the guy saying November was being generous. And that's just for a single. The album itself is likely farther off than that.

I really can't say anymore. I have no reason to lie, and my source has no reason to lie. They don't even know about this board either. I would love to explain, but I can't. I hope as much as anyone the November guy + my source are wrong. What my source told me made my stomach drop out of sadness. Hunker down everyone. Gonna be a while.

Trust me on this, Chino 100% knows about SL. This Link Is Dead and Big Youth by Crosses are most definitely responses to internet comments about his music. There was also an old interview back in the 2000's where he said he got angry because he'd look at message boards like this one and all it would all be is us saying what direction we wanted the band to go in. That's probably where the whole "I have no patience now for expectations..." bit on TLID comes from. This place also gave Shaun Lopez a very hard time in the SNW days (myself included - what can I say, I was an immature kid - but I came to understand/appreciate his work on SNW and also love Crosses) and I distinctly remember Shaun posting "SharingLungs can suck my balls" or something like that back in the day lol.
