Also I'm surprised there wasn't any discussion about the show interlude since it was first brought up. I don't even listen to Deftones anymore as surprising as it may seem, but that's about as 'new Deftones music' as it gets even though it may not be a full fledged song.

I thought that interlude sounded underwhelming to be honest... but yeah, it would make sense if it's a snippet from the new album

Idk if this means anything but on deftones story they posted the dates and underneath it was a pastel purple snake? Could be but I may be far fetched

I´m sure its about the new album, it will probably be released by then, there is also that little snake logo, like diamond eyes had that bear in the cd cover, so yeah i guess its starting guys... finally, im so so happy for that snake haha, its the beginning of it. A SNAKE, SO COOL, im so excited

Hi guys, new user here. I was gonna make a post about it being the album cover but you beat me to it lol. Either way I'm just a little skeptical as to if this is referencing something else unrelated to the album but it seems legit. Its a pretty HD picture too.

I don't think they'd put the album art on a tour poster first, guys. But hopefully it means we're getting closer.

It would be pretty anti climactic way to reveal the album art.

I think it might be a tire specific image, the colours are album cover related for sure and the snake might be on the cover but it'll look way cooler.

Kind of like how there are different images of the diamond eyes owl.

And now that I've posted that, I'll be proven completely wrong when it does get revealed lol

I don't know. People did think the original 2020 tour poster was going to be the front cover of the then unannounced Ohms. They've starved everyone of direct info to the extent that they could post a guy hovering over a toilet and fans would speculate that the title of the new album is Porcelain Bog.

I think the only hint to an album I've personally seen through a tour date announcement is before Ohms came out, and they changed the font on their logo to what was used for that specific album. Snake would be cool though it seems we're due for another animal mascot

That's how I'm feeling as well-- I just assume a purple snake MAY be on the cover in different posing and framing than on here.

I'm assuming Frank Maddocks did this also... this flyer's picture may be an alternate shot of the same snake hypothetically.

I also like the snake tongue emblem.

Random thought, but maybe theyre teasing it for part 2 of the tour meaning that that's when they'll play the songs from the album live. Then it would serve as both a teaser for the album pre-release, and a confirmation that it'll be performed live at those venues post-release. Would be kinda cool

After being so secretive about the album I really doubt they'd start teasing artwork on a tour poster. If the November rumor has any truth, my guess is new songs debut at DDLD.

It won't be November. If it is then something's gone seriously wrong in the latter stages of the process. I know the band usually overrun their initial estimates by at least six months, but even if they went back and wrote another two or three songs in the second half of last year, it doesn't take that long to apply the finishing touches.

My guess is the label see a band hitting a new height of popularity and are maximising that with a spring-into-early summer release, drying out all concrete info until then.

Yeah, if the album is done, I just don't see the point in them waiting until the end of the year. I understand promotion is needed, building up buzz and all that stuff, but with this tour being a massive success and them at peak popularity, it makes more sense to me to strike while the iron is hot.

If something did go wrong in the production, then that's a different story.

Just saw on Reddit that Texas has an exclusive shirt with SNAKES as the imagery. Also with a kimdracula lyric.

Pantera had a snake on their album and that was an amazing album, so did the metallica black album.
