I wonder how involved Lance is with it.

He probably plays on the album

#82
I saw that but also saw him post that his mom passed (condolences, Lance) and thought the team maybe sent him catering.

Also, kitesvera did say Chino told him Lance is on the album. Seems Lance and Fred are pretty much full-time members now.

I'm sure we can look forward to the two of them having an acrimonious departure in about a decade.

For real though, they've been great.

Seems like this should be a first half of the year release but I usually try not to predict Deftones album dates.

And then two more two more hours...

I know the band doesn't owe us anything, but I feel they've been unusually quiet with this one

LG95

Because it feels like a Q1/2 release, I'm trying to remember when the Gore hype train started. I think it was late January that the rumours and teases began to appear.

It was start of July 2020 we started getting some info on Ohms ahead of a late September release, so like 3.5 months before it dropped.

Honestly was a fun time with random snippets getting leaked by Chino on Mixlr lol

One night in summer 2020 he played damn near the whole album, like seven songs in their entirety. I could hardly believe it.

LG95

He played a couple of snippets in April '20 and then yeah the majority of the album one night in June I think.

I miss that Mixlr. Felt like a secret little club.

By the way, Daniel P Carter mentioned on his BBC radio show this week that he met some of the band in Sacramento near the end of the year. If they told him any specifics about the album then he didn't mention it, but he did say that he got really pumped by how excited they were about it.

I read somewhere awhile ago that the band feels it's their best album yet.
Please take this with a grain of salt though...

The little bits and pieces that have filtered through in the last year and a bit suggest they've particularly enjoyed this one.

That bodes well...especially when Stephen is excited.

LG95

That's what initially got my attention too. I haven't read anything about them considering it their best album but Stef's enjoyment is very promising.

Two more hours.
