ranking their albums never works out for me, because i end up looking at what i said a week later and disagreeing with myself.

all i know is that right now, koi no yokan is a contender for the top spot.

People like to rate old albums due to nostalgia, but you are right, Adrenaline isn't all that much chop... And his tatses in arse is stellar

I miss when Chino would actually scream..the days of songs like Lotion and Hexagram are over forever....Too much crooning ont his album. Chino isnt Mike Patton, he cant get away with crooning every song..and live the new songs will be a disaster because as everyone knows...Chino hasnt hit a high note live since 1998

not that it should matter, but i am a fan from well before diamond eyes, and it's a great album.

The new album is a grower! Swerve City is like the good version of Mein.

just heard swerve city for the 1st time  on my way to pick up sum kush and I luv It, now im gonna roll it up and listen to it on weed man, lol

I agree that his screaming days are over, same with the time where they were writing really aggressive songs. But Ive seen him hit every high note live perfectly in hamburg germany in 2010. Dont believe youtube only.

I didnt overplay them, but because I'd heard them enough to let the songs sink in, it kinda made me unwilling to listen to them for a while because I wanted to catch up listening to the new ones. But I'm too impatient to not listen to new music frm my favorite band, so I make no promises.

Those days are over, but he is almost 40 now, I doubt he still has the mindset of the Chino that wrote 7 Words or Lotion. Hexagram is heavy-emotional though, so that's different. Still, it's obvious that he's mellowed out now and isnt much into consciously making super-aggressive music. I can live with that, we have his old albums for that. Better that than him being in his 40s tryna scream like he used to about shit that makes him angry. I think there are plenty of new bands who make pissed off music that he feels there's no need to force it outta him wen he's chilled out.
