I think I owe Ves an apology. Thought it was laughable to call this a sequel to DE, but now I'm hearing it. In my defense he did have the album before me

But the more I listen the more I pick up the pop sensibilities of DE combined with the texture/atmosphere and experimentation of WP. Kind of like the two records fucked and KNY is the end result.

Some people pick up on SNW. Maybe. I won't go that far cause I don't care for SNW.

I was hoping for a WP 2.0 but I lowered my expectations. I mean how many albums can take a song like teenager and another like elite and have it make sense?

Overall I think it will be third fav deftones album but second most listened to. Graphic Nature has become my favorite along with Rosemary.

In conclusion, sorry Ves.

I don't remember who said that the "wild" in poltergeist made him think of chino yelling while rushing at burgers, but because of this asshole, everytime I hear it, I picture chino diving into a swimming pool full of big macs.

So, Risk + 976-Evil = Gauze? It feels much heavier than those two songs, though.

I hate Chino's singing on the verses of Tempest. Some of the worst singing he's ever done.

I don't get all the bashing on tempest. To me it's one of their best song ever.
Steph's doing a good job on it, and the chorus is  good... love the vibe on it

On the other hand I CAN't stand goon squad. I think it's the worst (by far) chorus chino's ever written.

Amazing album, though i can't quite get into Graphic Nature. Sounds like a B-Side to me. Entombed and Goon Squad are some of their best work.
