yep, i think i can confirm that this is the best album i've heard in my entire life.

i know what i want for Christmas now.  a nice cd-sized gift of Koi No Yokan.

This album is a monster! Everything i hoped for and more.
Its a very unique Deftones album that doesnt sound like anything they have done before.
But it still sounds like pure Deftones. Aah, im so glad!

I am still digesting this album but its not what I expected... I need to let this marinate for awhile

Right now Entomb is definitely my favorite track and I see why they picked tempest for the first single...

i say this without hesitation:  after 5 listens in various settings, and with/without headphones, this album is fucking amazing.  i was expecting an insanely atmospheric album, and i got that.  the album is almost shoegaze in some places... but i DID NOT expect it to be their most emotional album.  this one actually tugs my heart strings, and the Tones haven't done that for me since White Pony.  i've been a fan since '97, and have witnessed a MAJOR progression throughout the years, but this album is something else entirely.  i won't do a track by track, but there isn't a single song that doesn't grab me.  i expected beauty, but instead i got beauty AND glory.  a job well done, Deftones.  you've made my favorite album of the year, and my favorite of your entire career.  so much love.

I love the whole album, but I thought it really started picking up with Gauze. Gauze, Rosemary, and Goon Squad in a row is sick as hell! Was anyone else completely blown away by Gauze? The first time I heard it was damn near a spiritual experience. I was walking my dog at the time and almost passed out I got so light headed. Insane album. I love you deftones. Skrillex isn't dubstep.. he's garbage.
good dubstep is skream, benga, pretty lights etc. but that's trailing waaaay off topic here
