From what iv'e heard i think this will be my favourite record theyv done.
Every single clip sounded amazing. Really interesting chord progressions, vocal melodies, and the drums are incredible.
I got a retro dreamy kind of vibe from it, which i absolutely love.
Im so fucking pumped!!

right?! I got that same kind of vibe from it as well. I dunno if it's just because I'm super excited, but I also think this one will beat out SNW, S/T, DE & definitely give WP a run for its money.

I'm not even gonna mention ATF cause that album is classic.

Well here's my review of the 30 second previews.

Swerve City sounds rad. I like the bouncy vibe.
Romantic Dreams doesn't sound like the "monster" people were describing at all. Stephens riff doesn't sound like anything really new but I like it. Not a big fan of Chino here though.
Leathers is my favorite of the 3 tracks we've heard so far so we all know my stance on that one.
Poltergeist sounds fucking awesome. I only watched 1 or 2 live videos because I liked it so much I wanted to hear the studio version and have it feel new. This song won't disappoint me.
Entombed sounds pretty rad too. The guitar tapping thing is interesting and Sergio is more out front. Chino's vocal line though isn't that great. Good but... I'm not really feeling it. I'm sure I'll love this track though.
Graphic Nature sounds pretty cool. Abe doing what he does best.
Tempest is a good song but it doesn't really resonate with me all too much.
Gauze sounds like one that will be a sleeper with me. I like the preview but it'll probably end up as a favorite on the record much like 976-Evil.
Rosemary is a great song obviously. Not making my top 10 deftones songs list or anything but a really good song. Only problem is not that much diversity for such a long song.
Goon Squad. This is what the fuck I'm talking about. Sounds like this song is gonna take it to the bank! My favorite song title might be my favorite song (though Poltergeist will probably take that crown).
What Happened to You sounds... I don't know. Good song but I seem to be hard on what they close an album with. Deftones have monumentally  great closing songs (except Moana, good song but not a closer) and though I dig the sound of it, I'm just not sure how it'll round out the album.

Overall I don't think I can make very accurate assumptions on 30 second previews but I am fucking STOKED for this album. I have no real problems with any of the music and it sounds like it's own new thing. I'm always bad at these first impression reviews. My opinion will change drastically as I grow into the record.
