Never thought Poltergeist would sound that good..the harmonies are really complex in the pre chorus and chorus parts. Lovin' it..

you like every unheard song except poltergeist? that's cold

I am being cautious to rush to conclusions because these are simply previews, but it seems like this album has DEFINITELY scaled back the heaviness of prior albums. So far, the statements that this will be the band's most radio-friendly album sound correct to me.

yes. after the leak,i wonder how long it will be before we'll see posts like "terry date needs to produce the next album... koi no yokan is good, but i miss their heavier grittier filthy sound". and of course answers like "those days are gone, look forward to eros"

from the views , sounds nothing like the holeass's who wrote reviews make it out to be

Mmmmmm I dont want to sound like a negative creep but did they find the garden of eden? It sounds like that and for me those clips put me to sleep. It might happen that I will save my money for the first time and wait for 2013.

Oh, I am sure we'll all have that discussion eventually. It's become clear that there isn't anything close to "Hexagram", "When Girls Telephone Boys" or "Elite" on this album - which to me, is disappointing. I just have to hope now that there are little sections of heaviness sprinkled around the album. I am sure there are. But yeah, I am still excited for the album, just a little nervous about it too now.

Ive listened it.
My advise; DONT LISTEN IT cause you are gonna DISSAPOINTED

Entombed, Swerve, Goon and What happened interest me.
And yes GRAPHIC N sounds like Digital bath.

Those 30 sec previews sounds not fair i guess.
Because accoarding to previews best song is LEATHERS
We hear only chorous of Romantic Dream, it is good but i was EXPECTING something like WTGB or HEX

so : RESIST !!! DONT LISTEN IT IF YOU HAVENT

Edit: Poltergeist is AWESOME

The point is we already have a 'Hexagram', 'WGTB' and Elite..why would you want anything similar? I want something new I haven't heard yet. This sounds different to me.

oh, one of those "new" - junkies. just because it's new doesn't mean it's something everyone will enjoy. combat is old sounding, yet everyone liked that song - and that's despite it wasn't "new" at the time. royal was voted 2nd best song on diamond eyes at this board. what does that say?

I didn't think the preview was enough of poltergeist.

I do feel for the old-time fans who are continually hoping for a resurgence of Andrenaline/ATF influence, or just come from a more metal perspective in general. I can see where this might be just as disappointing as DE, if not moreso, for some of them.

I admit to being a newer fan (WP era) who listens to tons of more textural, experimental rock, so I absolutely love this apparent change in direction. I do take exception to the "no Hexagram or Elite or WGTB" comment, though, cause Poltergeist sounds like it fits right in on that list. That may be about the extent of it, though.
