Well Koi No Yokan is doing much better than Diamond Eyes at least.  That leaked around 2 months before release and we're only about 3 weeks away now and this one is still under wraps.  I'm glad it didn't leak so early this time.

Remind me, was it this bad wen DE was almost out? I mean, I dont remember ppl being so...impatient. Listen, I wanna hear the album like crazy, but you guys are making it sound like you're refreshing the page every few minutes to see if there's a leak lol. Too much excitement. Time goes by extremely slow wen you focus on something like that.

Real Talk, it's like fucking xmas morning around here SMH

According to the Rapidshare stat for the file I uploaded said that Rosemary has been downloaded 1,171 times. The youtube clip of the same file has 1,777 hits.

A lot of hungry fans

1,000 of those are probably from me.

The more I listen to this Rosemary rip, the more imperative it is that we get a cleaner copy..

Why is it so addictive to keep checking this forum?  I need to get away.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Rosemary is going to be like Beware the Water from SNW, and be the long lost single that should have been? I mean with all the songs we've heard so far- to me this is the best (And likely the best of the album). Like i said IMHO Rosemary is not going to be as great as it could have been. Just a thought.

After many listens, Rosemary has forever cemented its place as one of my favorite songs of all time, Deftones or otherwise. I have not been this in love with a Deftones song since White Pony. Basically I like it better than any song from S/T, SNW and DE (and I adore all of those albums). The only thing that disappoints me is that I have likely heard the pinnacle of this album and I did not get to hear it fresh and in context with the rest of the album. Don't get me wrong...I am still insanely anticipating the full album, but I feel like I might be a bit disappointed if/when I realize none of the other tracks quite live up to Rosemary.

Then again....the dynamics The Deftones possess may prove to make my point moot. There could be an aggressive or midtempo/upbeat track or two that I love in an entirely different way. I feel like Swerve City is going to be in the vain of Feiticeira and Street Carp which are two of my absolute favorites from their catalog.
Throw your faith in me. I'll take you some place brand new....

Very true. The only album I was almost disappointed in was S/T. It took me weeks to really appreciate the beauty through the dark and haunting vibe. Of course I love it now, though it is probably my least favorite. Nonetheless, so far it seems the few that have heard the album have said it is amazing. What really excites me is how people are describing the general feel. Very dynamic, spacey, experimental...but still Deftones at the core. Basically how WP was a quite a departure from their previous sound, but still being true to themselves. DE on the other hand was described as a great album also....but in the sense of "long time Deftones fans won't be disappointed". The overall feel of the album did not surprise anyone is what I am trying to say. Seems like KNY is going to blow minds in a way DE did not.

the one that really took me sometime to love was DE .. it was just so different from them... but after a week ... i was like holy shit this is good! found myself humming the guitar riffs and lyrics to risk haha. yes every reviewer that has heard this album is just describing the album as a mind blower.. which is why im so excited! and ive always loved their spacey experimental side of deftones, they succeed in every elemt possible, i mean even chino did a dubstep song with that other guy ..forgot his name lol .. and hes attempted post rock and indie rock and succeeded like a pro... they are true artists when it comes to music making .. thats how i know this album is just gonna be epic, just like every single album and track they make.
