I can't explain what it is. . . The albums up to Saturday Night Wrist (and including that album to an extent) feel more spacious, like the band has a more open style. . it could go anywhere. With diamond eyes, it all feels compacted. Know what I mean?

I have to say I enjoyed Saturday Night Wrist but the albums before that are classic Deftones to me. I hope this new album has more room to breathe, I guess. I don't want Diamond Eyes part 2. I like the album but I feel like their older releases had more staying power and more things to look for and go back to.

Not being a hater just saying, and I love deftones. I just fear for the future of the band.

that royal's scream is one of my favorite ones but i hate that distorsion effect they added on it

Royal scream is 2 seconds longer than hexagram, that's almost 30% more scream!

Why can't they do this announcement early in EVERYONE's day including EST people. God dammit fuck waiting for things.

You know there's like 3/4 hour difference between Eastern and Western parts of the US right? And the further east you go, the bigger the gap.

Yes my point is they should do announcements and releases at the earliest location's time. Who cares if the rest are still sleeping

Ok, no one says it's not going to be heavy.  Let's not just to conclusions from one little comment.  First of all, as was said, it's a relative term.  Second, the guy said it's a little less heavy. A little.  And DE was pretty heavy, at least musically.  So this could end up being just as heavy or heavier in many of our minds.  I'm not going to let it build up thoughts in my head when it very well will be much different when I hear it.

i think the old "new album thread" had some interesting discussions and then some funny trolling at the end.
this new koi no yokan thread is filled with garbage, and garbage only (i'm as guilty as the next person)
now it's just like a bullshit chat and nothing more.. i'd say this new thread became worse after the clean
