I'm hoping the magazine that said it's not coming out today are saying so just because of all of the "it is/it isnt" stuff. But I doubt it. Fuck, Deftones, can we not get some clarity? I mean, if they are gonna release it today and they want it to be a surprise then fair enough, I wouldnt expect them to confirm it. But if they're not, you'd expect them to clarify and say that no, all of the info going around is wrong, they're not releasing anything today.

if you recall the same thing that happened today happened with Rocket Skates, it ended up getting put out a few days, or maybe the day after they said it would....Deftones always do this shit. They have been doing if for over 10 years. They get your hopes up and then just let you down. It sucks but its a truth of being a long time deftones fan. At least we know WHEN we get it, it will DESTROY. Thats a guarantee.

Part of me is fucking positive that the band or it's management would've shut this whole thing down by now. If you type DEFTONES into google, the first 20 or so results in the news section are all articles reporting a new Deftones song being released on the 18th of September. Maybe the Deftones don't give a shit about hyping things up that aren't really coming, but Warner Brothers totally does. It's gonna happen today folks. Calm down.
