sometimes it's sad to think that the guys (deftones) are getting old, to think that maybe one day they'll break up, or stop making music. when the fan will never heard new deftones songs, the end days of sharinglungs (probably), the days when we cant see deftones live anymore, no updates on sharinglungs, no song leak, no news from them, no instagram photos, etc.
for the fan it must be hard to get through it. Deftones is best band in the world, period.

great band's music doesn't die the day a band disband, the good music will be there forever.There are many forums to bands that quit.granted there are forums where people discuss beethoven and mozart's shit. and there can always be a deftones reunion tour

I think she means that anticipation you feel when an artist is in the process of making new music, where it always has the potential to top everything prior to it.

yeah the wait for a record release from your favourite band usually is thrilling i agree. last time after snw i was more worried than thrilled though.

Anyone direct me to a great handheld (small) compact video camera for concerts? Is there any better than others for sound quality that a noob cld understand n operate??? My wife snaps all pics and video so I'm in the unknown about these things. I want to record the Detroit show in Aug for u guys and would like to get something worth capturing.....$500 range? I have a couple weddings coming up this year and need one anyways but don't know what to get. Obviously I know the crowd overwhelms the stage but that's what I'm asking if there is something better.  Asking u bc many of u have shot shows or wt not so..... thanks in advance

You won't have a problem uploading footage, pretty simple I do believe. Someone will definitely be willing to help ya out. And yep! In the lovely meth-watch community of Branch County haha. (lower mid-Michigan)

U need to let me know when u come into the city for a show or something. btw, goin to see Radiohead tomorrow w my brother at the Palace (he loves em) for the first time ever. Pretty excited for that besides that it's thee worst place ever for music, but he's taping it. Not the recorder I want to take for Deftones though.

haha nah, put your right hand out (you know how we roll when tryin to say where we're at). Bottom-middle. bout 20min from Indiana...right off of 94. But yeah i'll let you know next time I can catch the tones live in the D. I never could really get too into Radiohead, but definitely can't hate a decent amount of their stuff. Should be a good time for you though, enjoy!

I see, looked into it actually....small world. U n I both know what a music town we come from (I mean Detroit, which we don't live in but migrate there usually for live experience) and I don't think a lot of others here really do realize (cld b wrong) until they look at the history here including Deftones' shows, especially early. Alot of acts to b proud of rnd' here brah! Funny we love the farthest thing away from us possible in these states though!

And......yes, we need a new record bc this place as previously stated is going into a civil war lately and it's getting to b a bit much. If I'm guilty of being part of it oh well. We share a good thing here and there is no use hating on it when we're here to love and share it all. If ya don't like the Palms idea, don't dump it in your ears. If u don't like Crosses, don't flood the thread bc I go there when I see new posts in hopes of "good" news. Yeah i know the point of a forum is to debate, conversate, etc... but this is hard to decipher anymore whether there is a valid argument anymore or just a 17 yr old chump on the other end w no life outside of here.
