does anybody know if there will be a single released to beauty school?

Probably not, Warner doesn't release singles anymore, if you are talking about a CD or something... Digital probably yes....

Probably not. As far as I know it's just the video and radio play style. No plans for a physical release but then again, who knows. I'm sure other folks here would know better than me.

There's the Diamond eyes outtake still to be unveiled, but I'm sure that motherfucker is gonna sit a long time on the couch. Maybe in a b-sides and rarities 2...or never at all.

never at all.

Usually the best answer when it comes to deftones these days. Eros, DE b-side and a live DVD. Just 3 of the things we'll never get.

I think the live dvd kind of may be done, but personally don't hold any spectations on it.

I'm disappointed that 'Prince' was never released as a single.
That would have probably made the singles released from DE the best combo of singles to ever come from a Deftones album:
1)Rocket Skates
2)Diamond Eyes
3)Sextape
4)You've Seen The Butcher
5)Prince
I think that we already had a slow song for a single in the form of 'Sextape' which didn't chart well or get much attention.
It seems songs like that are too ''alternative'' for mainstream radio and channels like MTV and too slow and soft for rock/metal stations or for stations like MTV2
I think something more aggressive and up-tempo was needed to grab peoples attention as I see 'Beauty School' getting even less attention than 'Sextape'
I notice 'Diamond Eyes' and 'YSTB' got tons of airplay and those type of songs seem to work better for Deftones as singles.
Although I really like Sextape and thinks it makes for a nice break and change of pace for the album, I really don't like Beauty School - it sounds too slick and too much like an attempt to get radio play, appealing to fans of bands such as 'One Republic' , so I won't be too upset if it doesn't set the world alight as a single.
