100% not nick, that flat, washed out poppy sound hes created has almost ruined deftones for me if it wasnt for the grit of ST holding it together

wheresmysnare

Matt Bayles, Robert Smith(he could also colab with vocals and guitar on a song), Toshi Kasai, P.Diddy, Steve Evetts, Omar Rodríguez-López, Dan the Automator( I remember some old interview during SNW era where Steph said they worked on some demos with him and he really enjoyed the fact that with Dan the band was sounding more technical.)
And I would definitely favour Terry Date over Shaun Lopez or Nick... I just have the feeling that if they work with Nick again it would be a Diamond Eyes part 2.
DeAndre Cortez Way would also be one great choice.

Oh yeah I forgot about that . I heard ross robinson's production on team sleep as well and i was impressed with "live from the stage"
I don't mind terry date but for the sake of experimenting and pushing limits, they should select someone else. I pick robinson

Oh shit I was confusing Butch Vig with Rick Ruben WOOOOWWWWW! I'll drink another.

I think Butch or Steve Albini would be a sweet idea. Even just an EP would be killer. I love their work with the 90's Alternative scene, and would probably prove to be an EPIC collaboration.

I also think Terry and that Nick dude (wtf is his last name? Raw-sex-I-likes) tag teaming would ideal. Terry is damn good at looking at the whole picture while this Nick good did wonders individually but failed at the overall project.

Thinking about it all... I think working with Ezrin again might be a good idea. This dude seriously pushed them as musicians and recorded probably one of their most complex albums ever.

End of the day... I pick Terry. With the exception of Self Titled... dude has a good track record. OH... I said it.

As long as Terry Date is mixer, I'm not mega fussed on the producer.
