True.

So, when he's talking about that stuff that sounds like Sade meets Depeche Mode, does he mean Crosses or something that he's just doing by himself?

I'd say he was talking about Crosses, since that's supposed to be out soon-ish.

Video Interview with Chino and Abe on KISW Metal Shop before their 1st show with DEP. Abe talks about his scars, and he mentions how he heard 2 tracks from Eros recently, since it randomly played on his phone.

From the roll out of the record, they promoted it very well. At the time, Maverick Records was growing. They had a lot of money and they were putting it into us. They marketed the record great.
After they put out "Change (In The House Of Flies)" they said to us, "There are no more singles on this record." And my thing was, 'Well, you didn't sign us on Adrenaline because we're a radio band. This is probably the most pop record we've made and you guys had nothing to do with it. There are other songs on here that, just because you wouldn't hear a song like 'RX Queen' on the radio, doesn't mean you can't serve it to the radio and see what happens.' [The label] didn't want to; they got cold feet and said, 'Either this record's cycle is over or you can write another song.' [The band ended up rewriting "Pink Maggit" as "Back To School (Mini-Maggit").] It's one of the only things I look back at with a slight regret.

after change, the record campany said "there are no more singles on it"?  so the band ended up rewrting pink maggit?

this is what chino has said in the past:

"Knife Party:
The record company wanted this to be the first single, but i battled them because it was a little to weird. Its a seductive song with a lot of violent imagery. People don't tend to like sex mixed with violence. the mid section has amazing vocals from a girl called Rodleen who worked next door to our studio"

obviously maverick thought there were more singles on it. chino once again contradict himself.

thanks vesanic for posting

thank you for the interview, V. You keep us really up to date.

I guess if you have bad memories of making a record then you're not gonna play songs off of that record live because it will remind you of the bad times. Prob why they never want to play songs off of SNW and maybe S/T.

Man, I would kill to hear the demos and sessions from the WP era. Any exist I may not be aware of? I know things were different then with internet interaction and all but there has to be something. Like the whole push n pull process w Chino n Steph, I would love to hear the other version that didn't make the cut! Just a thought we probably all share. Anything? : )
