"The only musicians around me that really inspire me are people like Chino Moreno. Every album Deftones releases gets better and better; his vocals are awesome and his lyrics are great. He's not aspiring to be some mega rock star. People look up to him for his talent and not because he has clothing companies, a record label, owns a bar or puts himself all over the internet. Chino is a bad-ass singer and that's about it - that interests me." Quote taken from Spencer Chamberlain of the band Underoath in the latest Rock Sound magazine.

when i listen to steph and chino in interviews, i listen to every word they say, often listen to the interviews several times. interviews with abe...  i just can't concentrate, i find myself thinking about other things over and over during listening to him talk. it's just the most boring uninteresting shit. well i think so, I probably missed out on a lot of things as usual with that guy ^^

Seems chinito is getting chubby again. But I'm sure he won't double his size again...

theis

Yeah, definitely.

I loved SNW when it came out, but I can't really listen to it anymore. That whole era just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Vocally and lyrically, you can just hear that he was in a bad, bad place.

His vibe is great now, though. Good for him.

It's the Mystery Man (played by Robert Blake) from David Lynch's Lost Highway.

One of the scariest movie characters ever.

Vesanic, do you know any info about the documentary they were talking about?  Who's putting it out, when it's coming out or how it's being released (i.e., internet, DVD)?
