Dang dude that from 1997? ;)

Apart from a couple of sound issues at the start (minor) it was fuckin' amazing. Best time I have seen them in a long time..

I liked the good mood of the band and the messing around - it made it seem special.

Brilliant.

Hard to believe it, but they sound better in 2010 than in 1998.  Also Chino does his inhale scream at 2:34.  I didn't realize he'd been doing that for so long.

Did anybody else get into the aftershow?
You're probably going to hate me but my friend and i got taken in by Sergio- we both felt really sick so didnt even have any of the free booze before leaving after half an hour! im going to look back and kick myself but im off work today, ill in bed- feeling like shit!
Good night though!!

Were you the one talking football with Sergio ? If so, I'm the dude who hit him on the chest and said it's all about Everton. If not, what I just said will make no sense whatsoever. Haha.

Great show. We had a blast......although left my camera in the hotel (too much vodka) which was a bit of a bummer.

Great show last night dudes!!!I would have love to see them play needles & pins!
the crowd was wild I was constantly battling to keep my glasses on...they fell a couple of times but I managed to hold them!
chino was really interactive, even played a bit of drums!
This was my second time seeing them!but was by far a lot better than the first one!and felt a lot more personal to see them in such a small venue!!!
And meeting Steph after the show was really great!he's a nice dude and has an hold on all conspiracy's around there! lol

I have a couple of pictures I took I'll post them latter!

It wasn't conspiracy my brother, it was the truth!! haha and you just reminded me of Chino playing drums, he played the intro to that track by Slayer... can't think which one it is though!

lozz

Yeh awesome show, great setlist. The crowd was pretty good, but would have been better if the pits would have opened up a little more. The one in birthmark and 7 words was pretty big for the size of the venue. I wear glasses too, but just take them off and hold them in my hand for the heavy tracks. I've lost them at RHCP, Reading fest and even one the lenses fell out at a lostprophets show a while back. But its no fun staying out of the pits so its a risk worth taking.

I was stoked that I got to hear lotion and Birthmark live for the first time after already seeing them twice. I'll see you guys at download? no? aha.

Looks like you guys heard the same setlist that they played, when I was at the Dallas show. I think it's really awesome of them to do perform these bad ass small venue shows.

Word!!!it was definitely the truth!!!
.
they have been doing the same setlist in these past shows...they could have changed a couple of songs. and I thought it was funny when chino told the guys to play CMND/CNTRL like it was something spontaneous.they have been playing it in all of the late shows. still cool thou!

Nix

aj- we couldnt see you after we came back so we went to talk to eddy 'the bounty hunter'- was good to see you though!

defsteve- i dont think that was me. i was sitting at a table in the corner with a girl who looks like avril lavigne. i chatted to frank and abe mainly who were being sweet because i felt like crap. Did you see frank light up a fag thinking he could smoke? haha. He stole my lighter!
I swear ive met you before though dude!

I'm kind of dreading the MTV footage- when chino jumped onto the bar at the front, my friend and i had one leg each! we were holding him up so he didnt fall and i think mtv shoved a camera in my face, as well as chinos knee being in my face at the same time. Great...

Wow what a gig! Deftones sounded spot on, no complaints from me. Great setlist, fantastic energy. Managed to get into the afterparty and then went onto a place called Cro Bar, then Abe and Frank turned up!

You've Seen the Butcher sounded amazing, deffo one of the best times i've seen Deftones, had a killer hangover on Thursday though!

Haha Gaz you came!? Glad you had a good time bro, you always seem to bump into the friggin band!! :)

This was really good. It felt quite surreal, moreso than the other 'club' gigs they have done in London in recent history.

I thought, overall, the venue was poor - music wasn't nearly loud enough (though OK right down the front as I was for the latter half of the gig), I didn't think the crowd was great, I did actually get a bit of grief from some prissy looking women whilst making my way down the front (asking me "what do you think you're doing?" as I slid past). One of the bar staff tried to say they wern't selling shots when I had been buying them all night... he changed his mind after I told him I'd just had some and repeated my order.

I thought the crowd were great towards the end like during seven words but it never really kicked off big time like it did at scala or the forum last year.

Passenger, b2s, lotion all rocked. I think it's a massive shame that they don't play anything off SNW, having listened to the album again yesterday it's a really strong record with lots of amazing tracks they have done live before like rats! , beware etc. Though of course I'm sure that they will expand and change the setlist as the tour grows longer, and bigger.

One of the things I thought as I left were, are deftones a band now actually more suited to a big venue? I'm looking forward to the Paradiso gig next month, and another UK leg this summer :)

in theory  i would think they would be......  yet whether or not 'a bigger' venue would sell well or not im not sure depending on what size venue youre talking about    i think the venues limp bizkit are playing now deftones couldnt play, sadly     part of me wonders if these smaller shows are attracting more old or new fans   like to build a new fan base....
