Anyways, CMND/CTRL, kinda syked about this track. maybe its not a trip hop tune or instrumental like i've been reading.  its probably something bad ass like 'Hexagram'

I like "CMND/CTRL" as a title. Seems like the lyrics would be about a power struggle (Command and Control) in a relationship that that Chino can scream his head off about. I'm ok with the song titles, nothing too painful to read (well, sextape is kind of creepy, so when the album comes out I'll have to listen to it while seeing One night in Paris Hilton). Royal is a very deftones (used as an adjective) name, and things like this place is dead sounds curious...I'd loved this album to have 13 track or something, but you We to respect band's decisions. I mean, if I felt a song was incomplete or sucked to my standart I wouldn't release it. It's a shame they sometimes discard potentially great songs.







Oh, and the Buffalo thing was just humor .

I think the track list is very Deftones.  Cant wait to hear the music.  This Place is Death is a sick name for a closing track.

Many were complaining about song titles, etc. In the tracklist thread. I have to say I am more dissapointed that there are only 11. I was so hoping for 15. I know, greedy, right? I pray they give us another one on iTunes or something. I noticed quite a few albums have up to three bonus tracks. I have my fingers crossed that we get that.

I kept hearing the number 15 floating around, so 11 seems like big letdown...

I like albums with 10 tracks on. I can take a push to 11 but that's definitely maximum.

I find the filler material starts approaching after 11 tracks from certain bands...

why not post this at the "diamond eyes tracklist thread" or "new album diamond eyes" thread?

I'm not sure I'd actually like it. I mean, last time I read all this comments on how the track sounded like and then you hear the real thing, and shit aint bad at all, but It isn't what you imagined. Remember when we thought mein was buffalo and then it was this song with the shittiest chorus ever? Also, I expected more from Combat from what I initially read.
