Thats funny, Deftones workout music!!  I have to admit it is good to workout to, the energy of the song gets me pumped!  Yeah, I think we will see a lot of haters change their minds. I mean, it happens with every single album.  Everyone hated ATF because it was "nu-metal baby Korn" then they hated WP because it wasnt ATF and it was too "commercial" then they hated S/T because it was a bad follow up to WP(which I admit to hating it at first), ironically the haters started appreciating WP and then when SNW came out it they picked apart every single song like it was an episode of American Idol and they were Simon.  Now there is an overwelming appreciation for SNW all of a sudden on this board... i guess thats just how Deftones music is... it gets better with age and grows on you

deftones fans didnt knock atf at all, all that "baby korn" talk was from korn fans. atf was always highly appreciated among def heads.
and that "overwelming appreciation for snw" ..i just dont know. there was a record vote out here at sl not so long ago,snw was the first one to go and it happen rapidly

Song has great riffs, but like others have said, it's incredibly repetitive.  I hate it when the Deftones get lazy with their songwriting.  There's a part where there's a really obviously good transition to a proper bridge and they don't take it, opting out to just repeat a riff over again instead.  This song has me really worried that the album will be S/T part II.  Most people here will love that.  But like I've always said, that album feels incredibly lazy to me.  Just like this song.

SNW > S/T

if the new record will be as optimistic and happy as rs then it can never ever be s/t part 2. no matter how simple the song structures are

Heard Rocket Skates in my car on Octane (xm radio)!
The bass sounded huuuuge with my system...I dripped a lil pre-cum in my pants.
We'll stop to rest on the moon, and we'll make fire.
I'll steal a carcass for you, and feed off the virus.

A lot Korn fans are/were Tones fans and vice versa, and yes some of them did knock ATF, a very small percent however.  I dont care bout no vote, all i know is ive seen more people defending that album and praising it recently, sooooo... yeah.

This song isn't very good after many listens. Just doesn't appeal to me. Chorus is terrible.
