For me anyway, Deftones have always signified finding strength in life even through down cycles. And that's what they've done for me.

Through out every sad and emotional period in my life, deftones was playing in the background and it always made me feel like there was someone else in the world that's been through what I was going through. Like an eye of the tiger montage in a bad fucking rocky movie haha.

I'm just saying, even if they are playing a show without Chi, IMO that's what Deftones is all about... surviving through the pains of life.

i agree with the above post. Chi will probably not be able to play for at least a year (if at all  )

I just hope Chi makes a full recovery, if he desides that he doesnt want to continue with deftones more power to him. Music is just one part of his life. And it takes him away from his family for months and months at a time. so it is a real possibility that when he wakes up he may want to spend time with his family rather than going out on tour. 

Word, I spoke to Risa (Chino's g/f) -- she said she might be able to get me back-stage passes... I can't wait.

Damn, it's put on by a radio station so it doesn't sound like it. Oh well, I can't wait for the show!!!

My fucking recording PC broke like 6 months ago. But I'm moving to LA March 5th and will actually be living in a art/music studio so I'm sure we will be recording a lot... I hate the crap I have up right now...

God damn it's cold up here - I can't wait to be all moved and set down there.
