Title: Deftones multitrack stems?
Post by: Knucklestones on Mar 06, 2015, 06:31 PM
I'm wondering if anybody out there knows if the ones from Rock Band (Cherry Waves Cherry Waves - Deftones - Rock Band 2 - Expert Guitar, Drums & Vocals (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAFNMSd3cpw#) and My Own Summer My Own Summer (Shove It) - Deftones - Rock Band 3 - Expert Guitar/Bass/Pro Drums (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxXZG_ovZrM#)) have been ripped and where to find them. Or if they haven't, if anybody knows how to and could provide them.

Doesn't it simply take somebody taking the time to hack the system and grab the files? I don't think anybody actually releases these.

I've converted them all to mp3, combined the drums, and named them appropriately if anybody is interested https://mega.co.nz/#!gxRBxYbI!M0TXeyRFrcF6bUL5QZb7siDcm-26PJdBE9ZNx4t1xLE

This is like audio gold for me. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy hearing how Terry mic'd Abe's drums. The separate drum parts are the actual drum mics and the other two seem to be the overhead and room mics. Its really cool to hear all the little details from each track, like Frank's ambient sci- fi fx, which are really prominent in the vocal subgroup. Chi really helped put the power into this song with his bass lines, and I love that he used his fingers and not a pick. Stephens tone is very crunchy and you can really hear how much pick attack he adds with it isolated from the rest of the track. Over all, this shit is cool and if anyone else come across stems like this please share!

I know these may have been posted before in the past but figured I'd post em' here to consolidate it into one thread and to get the links to others who didn't know they were available.
