One of the most famous Canadian bands in Canada, not sure about outside of Canada.
They came out with a new album in October. And Now for Plan A. It's got some really good moments. Sounds like a mix of Johnny Cash and The Boss.

I hate this band. Mostly because the singer is absolutely terrible. It's unfortunate that they're known as one of Canada's main rock bands.
I've heard Bobcageyon a few times and really like it. gonna have to listen to these other songs. I like the singer, he has a unique voice. I like em a bit odd like that.

Ouch. I love Gord Downie. Not only do I dig his voice but I find him entertaining as hell onstage.
Favourite song would have to be Lake Fever.

As a Canadian, I love the Hip. Hated them for a long time when I was young because I was "too cool" to listen to them but I've grown to really love them. Also they're so much fun live.
Always liked the Hip
I saw them headline the "Live @ Squamish" festival just North of Vancouver in the mountains/on the coast. Unreal time, and Gord Downie was a mad-man as usual. The Hip and Charles Bradley were probably the 2 best shows of that festival.
I never expected this board to have any Hip fans. I'm glad to see it.
great name
