Does anyone here have it?
If so... wanna sell it? :D
i don't even think there was ever an official release. it's just a collection of songs from various demo tapes.

Yeah that's right. So make your own, it's easy :)
So this info from wiki is incorrect (no surprise) -
Year Album details
1993 (Like) Linus
Released: November 30, 1993
Label: Self-released
Format: CD
There are a series of demo tapes out there you can search on google
I have all the demos, I just want to know if this CD really exists...
I've read that it was an "official bootleg" on many fan sites over the years. It was supposedly sold on either Deftones main site or a fan site. I've never figured out if this CD is legit. I also never saw it for sale on any of the older websites but I didn't get internet til 1998 or 99. I've seen this up for sale on eBay a few times over the years and it's sold in the range of $100-$200.
Here's the Discogs listing for it (the release date in most likely wrong):
http://www.discogs.com/Deftones-Like-Linus/release/3379006 (http://www.discogs.com/Deftones-Like-Linus/release/3379006)
Edit:
Here's an old thread about it with a complete set of pictures:
http://www.sharinglungs.com/index.php/topic,16802.20.html (http://www.sharinglungs.com/index.php/topic,16802.20.html)
I'm sure most here will say it's just a fan made thing and I think it was to but I do remember reading that it was sold legitimately on many sites back in the day. I'm sure someone here knows for sure and will chime in.

Nope it's fan made indeed....
Just a bootleg
It is definitely a fan made product like all the other guys are saying. I know this, because I was around when a guy by the name of Artemis was pressing/burning copies and selling them from his site (I believe he was the originator with a few collaborators). I enquired about buying a copy and he emailed me explaining how to pay for it. I was a poor uni student at the time and a noob at buying shit online, so never ended up buying it. This was the late 90's.

Good you didn't :)
I'm still not 100% clear on this...
So it wasn't a self-released demo by Deftones... Just a compilation of demos that someone threw together?
I thought this thread settled that, but then I still see people that consider it an album...
Its a fucking bootleg people. Told this 1000 times, not official at all. Just a bootleg with most demos collected....
I understand your confusion though... Everyone thinks its official. It's not

Yes, I remember this guy too. He was also the same guy making and selling copies of a 2 disc set called "Demos, Covers, Remixes, & Shit"
I bought this off of him and its nothing more than a home made bootleg CD on a CD-R.
Also in a previous older thread, this image was posted.

I believe the image on the disc was/is taken from a very old non-exsistant deftones fan page called "the screaming kitty" or something along those lines.
Deftones Around The Fur EPK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQXZnSLxQ00#)
at around 45 seconds into the EPK you'll see the site I mentioned.
