I sometimes wonder how many albums they got left in them . They prob got 3more left in them including ERos ,i just hope they bow out gracefully And do a very special tour playing their whole albums like ATF OR S/t just for the fans we deserve it already!

About one every three years is their average. So one Next year, another in 2016, and another in 2019 (one of the latter 2 being Eros). At that point it'll be 24 years since Adrenaline came out and 31 years since they got together.. by then they'll be old as fuck and who knows what kinda shape. Eros might become their last album, after they are already done making music.

I am not worried. They'll be around. I don't see any reason for them to stop. Diamond Eyes was album of the year (sort of like the time when White Pony put them on the paramount). They're on it again the process will continue till they reach the next peak.
regardless of the band we all know chinos gunna keep makin music til his heart stops.
And whatever he ever does, I'm into it so far. So, I'll be happy with this and I completely agree! If u asked him that, there would be no pause in between q and a. 8)

I reckon they will release something next year. I did read in loads of articles that they were writing new material on the last tour. Probably currently taking a break and doing a bit of solo stuff and maybe a few festival appearances this summer and maybe a few leaks online for Christmas.

NOBODY knows exactly, not even them I'll bet. If whatever happens in the future matches up to what someone says on this thread, it's a great blindfolded full court shot. We all know it's a crap shoot with this band. Let's hope it's good and soon like they've said. Something about 2012 release (hopefully) is what they have said during touring last summer. Prob won't happen if the past reappears as usuall with theirs and especially Chino's info. :) ???

I think we all hope there is more coming, but if they have to call it quits at some point I'd understand. They've been together longer than MANY other bands.
However, I can tell you that as a musician myself, I don't think you ever stop being a musician unless something tragic happens to you. So I'm sure that all of the guys would continue to have some sort of influence in music projects after Deftones... wether they remain together or not.
For now, I'm really enjoying crosses.
