What song do you think would be the best to promote the album?

Diamond Eyes and Rocket Skates arent included since DE seems to be the first single and RS already has a vid.

Based purely on what I think could help them sell some records? Beauty School. Risk after that because it's catchy.

But if we lived in a perfect world, I'd want a FUCKING VIOLENT AND SURREAL video for Royal. Maybe about a Royal king with an RX Queen, a Prince and a Bloody Cape who goes on a murder spree. He commits Deathblows with his Battle-Axe. You can call him the Butcher because You've Seen him. Then they'll all realize that This Place Is Death. The video can allude to all of these songs.

Id choose Prince, it flows well, imo has the catchiest chorus and cool a breakdown.

Risk would be my 2nd choice.

Royal fo realz. but if they want one that will sell some records id say sextape or Beauty school. But i want royal so that gets my vote.

I vote Sextape, because it's my favorite on the album and it's the catchies and most radio friendly song on the album.

honestly, too early to make an opinion. it's hard to pick my my favorite song, let alone will probably be the next single...

I think Prince would make a good single HOWEVER I fucking love the song and if by a small chance it does get played alot I probly would start to tire of it

I hope Sextape or Beauty School, but I think Royal could be seen as a potential moneymaker for the label. It's some catchy stuff.

Sextape or Beauty School.  The 2 most radio friendly tracks.  I really think both songs could attract a lot of new fans.

Because I always felt they missed making RX Queen a big hit.

I cant tell which would be the most radio-friendly. Probably Beauty School or Risk. But I pick Prince anyways, because it's basically my favorite. Amongst others.

I have to say I really hope they don't pick Sextape. I don't like it. It's very uninteresting to me, and the lyrics feel like "Cherry Waves" throwaways.

This is true. Wen I read the reviews I thought Beauty School or Sextape would be my favorite. Then wen I heard it I preferred Sextape, but now I prefer Beauty School. I suppose either one would make for a good single concerning mainstream and whatnot, but...eh. I dont care about that. I dont suppose they do all that much, or they'd make more radio-ish music.

sextape is the only mediocre song on the album, also too corny. beauty school all the way, maybe shortened with the middle part cut out.

976 evil has, like bergerac said - "left-field notes". it takes unexpected turns in the melodies and chords, thats not the typical single. a single should in thelabel eyes be catchy and instant, no fuzz, and not too heavy.

i vote sextape because its a catchy radio single. i wouldnt want them to put out the very best songs because everything else might disappoint so no beauty school...no 976...no royal....

I based my vote on what i would like to be a single or see a video for. And that song is Royal. But if we are talkin about radio play and record sells then Sextape or Beauty School for sure.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE minerva, and I do consider hole in the earth an important and cool song...but those aren't songs that matches the 'tones sound we all fell in love in the first place. Oh, and I drastically disagree with the other single choices since then, as much as many people on the board do (hexagram, bloody cape, mein...I wouldn't have ever go into deftones if that's what I had known them for)

I agree. First Deftones song I heard and liked was Beware, and it was because I saw the lyrics written and wanted to know if the song was actually good. A lot of their more popular songs, the ones that were singles, I'd heard some of, and just skipped them.

Prince, has different sides of music spectrum and catchy. why is many saying Risk catchy. its tired.

PRINCE, the best song in the album, it has it all.
