what the hell is he saying during the verses?! it's been driving me crazy for like a decade!
there's the lyrics in the cd slip, and i've found a bunch online, none of which seem to be accurate.
for the past 3 years since chino started "rapping" the verses (louder), i can make out bits and pieces, but still.....
one of my favorite songs EVER.

I'm not even going to waste my time trying to figure out the lyrics. There's a good chance Chino doesn't even know them. Matter of fact, I was just talking to DJ Crook on Facebook, and he mentioned something about how Chino would just moan some random words over some instrumental TS songs when they were playing them live, which is how I come up with melodies myself when writing music, and we agreed it's funny to see some fans decipher the lyrics or sing along to it and shit when there aren't really lyrics to begin with...
But props to anyone who thinks they can actually figure out what he's saying.

Does the album inset not have anything printed? I only have the physical copies for White Pony and the S/T, and I know they've changed the lyrics on the insets to get around content warnings. But if the booklet actually says "Buttercup sent me to kill Stalin again", I'm going to laugh.

The album insert booklet only contains (most of) the lyrics that are NOT mumbled (by Chino), which is only about half of what he says in the entire studio version of the Lhabia song, LOL! :P As far as I remember anyway. I would also like to know 100% of what he says in that song, it's been like my favorite song on Around The Fur since the day I bought it.
Yeah, only contains bits like:
"I want to watch you buttercup coming through the fog"
"I don't want to go but I want it well at least you fucking care"
On a side note, it's amazing what you read in liner notes. Ulrich Wild was part of this who ended up doing Taproot and assisted by Matt Bayles who produced Mastodon eventually.
You have to play it backwards....duh.
