Chris's voice was exemplary at Download Festival 2009. The Soundgarden stuff he played was immense.

Haven't seen them live since 1996 so I am fucking over the moon  :D

AC/DC and Soundgarden will be 2 of the headliners for Download Festival 2010. And I am guessing Deftones will be playing. Add Far, Will Haven, Helmet and Filter and this could be the greatest festival ever. Ever!!

Nope. This clip is from 2009.

He came on stage and did "Hunger Strike". He sounds incredible.

Well that's cool.  I can already bet there will be a co-headlining Alice in Chains/Soundgarden tour by the end of this year.  Book that.

I think a PJ/SG tour is more likely.

I've been thinking, and for once I DON'T want one of my favorite bands to reunite and record new music. ok, so I'm still a bit on the fence with Faith No More, but at least there I know it's be quality stuff and it'd be really interesting and fun to hear.

but given Chris Cornell's recent track record, I just don't have much hope left for the guy. a reunion tour would be fucking awesome and hopefully his voice would keep up with it. but I just can't shake the feeling that this is his last attempt to get back into the spotlife. Audioslave got old and boring and his solo work didn't really get anywhere. and we all know the reason he dropped the guitars and worked with Timbaland is so he could make a real hit record. so what's left? reuniting Soundgarden, of course.
