Now last time i asked about a song people got mad cuz i was "taking the deftones style" well im not. I just wanna know what effect Chino is using in MX during the chorus. It sounds trippy!
its probably a bunch of different effects .
I suspect some chorus/flanger maybe some tremolo too.

yes definitely some flanger in there...
I use similar effects on the if ever stuff. (shameless plug: http://www.myspace.com/ifxever )
I've got an effect called bit crusher I use, along with rotary, phaser, flanger, a little reverb, guitar chorus, tremolo, a ton of compression, and some telephony EQ

what song did you use it on?
I use all of the various effects on different parts. I didn't do them to intentionally sound like chino so if you're looking for a part that sounds like him, you won't find it.
but if you tweak those effects I suggested, you'll come out with something similar.
start off recording reall hot, maybe even clipping the vocal track. compress the hell out of it, apply some tele EQ, and the load effects as desired.

You probably don't want to clip the track if recording digitally.. I would just get good levels and apply effects to a nice clean track, that way you can always change things you don't like later. You can't undo clipping.
