Anyone agree with the lyric? I know I do sometimes.... Seems like Deftones can put into words the feelings you have but can't seem to get out but they are there beating you in the head with a hammer to get out
Right, yeah.
lol wut
I like Bad Brains
you are 110% right
battle-axe reminds me of my x gf. It's a very emotional song to me
On the new album, there will be no lyrics about love at all. And I don't think the new album is going to be that heavy either, but for me that isn't a bad thing! :)

i love...love...
Uuh. Stef's using an 8-string guitar. Of course it's gonna be heavy. But I wouldn't mind some mellow stuff as well.

Seriously man? Are you that dumb? Just look at what the word "Eros" means...
To me every album is a new version of them, they never repeat themselves which is a good thing, Always something to look foward to, just to see where the next level is and how far they take it.
i so connect with this passage cuz i hate my life and im on the internet too much and my freinds hate me cuz im a pastey

Oh I was actually quoting Chino from an interview he did in the latest Rock Sound magazine. He said that he thinks songs about love have ruined music, he would rather listen to instrumental music now days. and there will be no songs on the new album about love. People always ask him if the new album will be heavier than the last one and he always says no... I don't think Eros is going to be the name of the new album...
They might have just called it that to describe what we are all doing.... waiting! =] but i'm tired of waiting!! lol. I agree love songs pretty much have ruined music these days... because you get these crappy main stream bands that all they sing about is love and heart ache and forget about all the goodthings in life and other bad things besides heart break.
loooove deftones lyrics.
anyone find tho, that this song live is better than the album version? the intro atleast..
I used the song 'Deathblow' to break up with two girlfriends. The lyrics fit.

Its always weird to me that people expect something "heavier" from them. to me, i dont need heavy music from Deftones, i just need it to be the best combination of what they do.
I really enjoy their softer , spaced out side, so i could say to them "i hope the new album is softer and more spaced out" , and saying that wouldnt be out of place, coz it fits them well too.
Being heavy isnt what they are all about i dont think.
