Shiner is one of my favorite bands of all time. They've released 4 albums, an EP, and a bunch of 7"s. Shiner is a band that can be best described as "Midwest Rock," or heavy alternative. If you haven't heard of Shiner, do yourself a favor and check out the track "The Egg" @ http://myspace.com/shiner
Albums (in order of release):
Splay
Lula Divinia

The Life and Times is spearheaded by ex-Shiner singer/guitarist/songwriter, Allen Epley. They have 1 album and a few EPs. They're about to drop a new record called, "Tragic Boogie," but are shopping the record to labels. http://myspace.com/thelifeandtimes

Shiner is one of my favorite bands too. Very underrated :'(
Castor is great too http://www.myspace.com/castorband93
Castor is another great band, in fact the recent Deftones -x- zip tape/file w/a few songs included "Carnival" by Castor...
Tracking Sounds Alone was also produced by none other than Paul Malinowski of Shiner fame
If yer a Failure fan, you would like Shiner, once you get into Shiner and get all comfy, you'll graduate to The LIfe and Times...
BTW, Shiner did some shows w/Failure back in the day...
Yeah, Shiner was the shit. Just listened to Lula Divinia the other day.
Are any of you Shiner Fans, fans of Houston? Not the rapper/hip hopper...
In case you haven't heard of them: http://myspace.com/onesimpleband
They used to tour w/Shiner a lot back in the day. The remind me of shiner and cave in
