This sucks, big time. Rick wrote so many good songs, his voice and piano playing was top notch aswell.

I totally missed this and last night a couple of friends who know I love Pink Floyd said that one of the members had just passed away. I was all "no way, you must be talking about Syd Barrett and that was a long time ago now"... then I read the news today.

a terrible loss. after they won the polar price and I saw a documentary of them where Nick Mason and Richard Wright said they wouldn't mind playing with Floyd again I had my hopes up for a reunion some day. this really really sucks. RIP mr Wright.
