Would you buy a CE of Eros for $200 (incl. documentary, vinyl, bonus tracks, photos, Rock Band version, signed lithograph)
Option 1: Hell yes
votes: 34
Option 2: Hell no
votes: 17
This is strictly hypothetical. I'd like to know if Deftones fans are as diehard as NIN fans, who did buy CE of Ghosts for $300. I know I'd buy the CE of Eros!
my lord
what did that ce of nin's album come with ?
and no. i dont purchase cds anymore.
I have a cumputer
i would buy it, but it had better be worth the cash
no. because thats a rip off.
ive seen some expensive boxsets that are extensive as fuck, but they're not even that pricey
good topic tho

exactly, i dont even remember where to go to buy cds, or even how its done
I think it involves rubbing two sticks together
I would buy it, I buy all their stuff as I collect it, like I do with Smashing Pumpkins.
according to wikipedia, the CE of NIN's Ghosts came with:
two audio CDs, a data DVD containing multitrack files for use with audio editing software, a Blu-ray Disc with the album in high-definition 96 kHz 24-bit stereo and accompanying slide show, a 48-page hardcover book with photographs, immediate access to the digital release, a 4-LP 180 gram vinyl set in a fabric slipcase, two exclusive limited edition Giclée prints, which are different for each copy, numbered and signed by Trent Reznor.
If they would indeed make such a version, I'm sure it would make it worth it. I'd pay for sure.

A rock band version would be bad ass as well if it was signed and numbered.

My opinion... So yep, voted yes...
id just buy the cd
I'd buy it as long as it has enough material to make it fair price.
No way, Here that shit would cost like 600. But if I ever go to some where it is avaliable, i think i'd get it.
Deftones is not that band which would care too much about their artwork etc (making it much conceptual/whatever), that is why I would just probably buy the CD. Cause, let's admit, Trent always has been about adapting art to his music, making it more atmospheric, for example the same Ghosts package - every song has a picture - it all creates some sort of mood.
maybe:
1. Deftones music usually is too good to be accompanied by pictures to make meaning, they're meaningful without them nonetheless;
or 2. They're just too bored after that amount of time creating music, so they'll just roll a joint, chill out, make some music and watch Trent collapse after making tons of albums per year.
actually, if they included a smoked roach in the box set i would definitely buy it :D
even without cd inside ^^^
I'd buy it for sure.

hell yes
i will .
robbed it from somebody .
I must be in a minority of people who still buy CD's today. I pretty much spend all my hard earned cash on CD's... But yes, I would buy it.
deftones are a band of few that I still buy the album but i would definitly buy a collectors edition!!!!
