- "Formant (Demos 2005)" seems to be the same as "Formant (v2.0 - Demos 2006)"
- Many leaks place "Natalie Portman" as the first track of the 2001 leak, but "Death by Plane" seems more fitting as the tail end of it has the intro of "Appollonia"
- The albums Demos 2007 and Broyhill Demos all came from Teamsleep.net. Some of these songs were labeled "New TS Demos" for album name - I put those under "Demos 2007" and the rest under "Broyhill Demos." Eric Broyhill engineered in Washington, I believe....
- I have seen this referenced: Scene/SGE rip for the 2001 leak. What is Scene/SGE?

uh, some thoughts.
isn't Passportal the same song as Appollonia?
Natalie Portman (full mix) isn't official, so I think it should not actually be here. Just some fan made it.
uhm, and Scene/SGE rip means, I think, that someone collected all those demos and released it in a release manner. With covers etc etc. I just think so.
i get sick to see same songs of team sleep for years...

thanks for the info about the natalie portman full mix. good to know.
passportal is appollonia but w/out vocals. passportal was released for the matrix 2 soundtrack
How about a HQ (320 kbps) version of natalie portman? either normal or full-mix, both would own
nice, much appreciated, especially the artwork
I have no additions to the list either.
good idea.
what about remixes?
I uploaded what I have

thanks alot
since you have the drop remix in that first set you should probably add A Day in the Life of A Pool shark remix to the 2005 demos
also, the variations of formant are slight: version 2 has a load of reverb on the drums most noticeable in the kick and an extended ending and added soundscapes.
12 is the same as the original
M is similar to version 2 but with the reverb on the drums turned down
that said, someone should get a good rip of the audio from the boise video to add to the list.
I was gonna post something like "remixes belong in their own category, separate from the demos & shite..." but that would be quite redundant (? ???). This is quite a cool thread, where'd you get the images there? I mean, obviously besides the Demos 2005 one, I've seen that one for years...probably even before 2005 lol :P and the Broyhill one
great, thank you.
wow, thanks buddyboy
what about new guitar, Shangai, and his lil ditty on teamsleep.net. these are all tight as shit.
new guitar is live, but shanghai should be up there too... i thought it already was. if youre talking about the video fo todd recording a song, I don't know, I don't think it fits since its technically live.
your skull is red (acustic) is live too though

Man, I just have to say thank you again. Listening to the original demos again reminded me how great those songs were, and how special it was seeing them downtown at Harlow's all those years back, how excited I was about this band. People may disagree when I say that the Team Sleep of those days had a sweet, and more intimate charm that (in my humble opinion) they slowly lost at some point between then and now. While I still love parts of the studio release, and some of the myspace demos, nothing quite compares to that original batch of songs, the way they made me want to go pick up my guitar and write (like any good song should), and the experience of them playing on that stage with their little lamp. Beautiful memories, man. Thanks a lot for posting this. :)
Thanks so much for all this TS shyte, its amazing
any one have song.. revenge of the nerds? thx
Nothing new, but just wanted to add that my signature has a link to the Team Sleep demos. The last time I checked the link surprisingly still worked.
Cesar, what's up man? how has been your life? it's been at least a year since I last saw you here.
Not a lot, I just couldnt afford the internet for awhile. Right now I only have it on my phone, soon though I will have regular internet agin.
Hey there, I literally just signed up to this forum. If I'm not mistaken, all these downloads are rar. I don't have the program used for that, and my computer won't let me download it. Does anybody know a place where I can download it through my BitTorrent. Or, can anybody emailthem to me somehow? Thanks for your time.

I want to bump this thread. And can a mod please sticky this?
why do you want it sticky'd? i'm sure the links are all dead
They aren't, I just downloaded them actually.. I had lost all of my TS stuff.. and this thread is almost off of the first page here, so I think it'd be useful for everyone here in the forum to have it at the top, for anyone interested in having access to everything that isn't on the S/T record, which is the majority of their music haha.. and the best stuff anyway...
links worked
lost all my shit from them also
thank you
are these demos legit...like were they released by the band......i think im gonna go by what wikipedia says?
They are legit I don't know if they were officially released maybe they leaked them or just put them on there old site or something but they are real
team sleep put them in their myspace back then.
I wish Death By Plane had made it onto the album it's such an amazing song it's so bleak and dark, To me it sounds like it's written as the last act of dying man.

RIP Team Sleep
Maybe I get to eat my words. With Death Grips broken up now and Zach Hill with some time on his hands (I'm assuming), anyone think Team Sleep might start recording once the new Deftones record is completed?
Maybe but Chino's side project are becoming pretty popular, especially Crosses which seems like the first one to have widespread success with people outiside the usual deftones fanbase, he seems commited to touring with palms aswell so i don't see team sleep returning at a full time level, if it does happe i think it'll be a case of Chino just keeping it low key and avoiding the record companies and big tours, they'll probably just distribute songs online and stuff like that.

maybe there will be a Team Sleep 2.... or maybe there already is...
Things...are happening.
Thats good news there's no other band that scratches that unique team sleep itch, I would just love to hear more from the musicians involved Crooks beats are just so unique and emotive and I've really fallen in love with Todds hypnotic writing style, i would love to hear more music from them even if it wasn't in the team sleep capacity but it makes me sad to think these guys wouldn't work together again as far as musical chemistry these guys have got it. Hopefully the guys also know they've got fans now not just Chino, they might not know but there are people out there who would love to hear their music.
I will love to hear some new Team Sleep, but I'm pretty scared that Chino will screw up the vocals.

Just Kidding might be the most addicting demo I've listened to in a while. I'd love a studio version with vocals.

Yupp, Just Kidding is great, but my favorite is Gridlock. Its so dark and depressing yet beautiful at the same time. Team Sleep is the best.

I found this remaster of the 2001 leak. They're m4a files, though. https://mega.co.nz/#!Tds3XAiS!9R4J2GqIPGUvfqFuGzHxdsxX-HEwTG4SSmlFDxRsXTA

I don't hear a single difference at all. Same volume levels even and everything. Technically, wouldn't they be even slightly less (likely not noticeable) quality than the original mp3s, seeing as they're re-encoded to m4a?
Can anybody tell me who are the artists playing vocals on Scarfbitch (Don't Ask Don't Tell) & Let's Go?

I believe they were late 2007 - early 2008. I'm pretty sure at least. I remember they made a really dope website and nothing ever really happened with it. I remember I was so stoked at the time.

I remember that too. Reminds me of when Deftones made a new site a year or two after S/T with some lyrics that sounded cool. Something about a king raising an army. But nothing came of that either.
Yeah, the Broyhill demos were around the time when they were takling about releasing series of EP's through the internet (kind of like what Chino ended up doing with Crosses). Also around the time when they were touring in late 2007, I believe, and debuted New Guitar, Fen Fen and March.
Can someone please re-upload the demos? All the links are down. I have only bits and pieces of each demo, unfortunately not the whole collection...
I can get it to you... Is a rar file okay ? Lemme know...
